She directed indexing and editorial work at Banks-Baldwin Law Publishing Co. in Cleveland, OH, for 13 years. She worked at Prentice Hall Information Service as Editorial Director of Non-Tax Services. From January 1990-January 2002, she was the Director of Indexing Services at The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (BNA), in Washington, DC., overseeing a staff of 40 indexers. In 2003-2004, we worked with the IRS to provide a standardized vocabulary and approach to the indexes of their various publications. We have also indexed the Bluebook guide to state government in Oregon for the past six years. We have written subject indexes for casebooks, textbooks, treatises, journals, forms books, and answer books. We also create tables of cases, tables of authorities, tables of statutes and rules, and other finding aids. We also provide research and correction lists to reconcile variations in spelling or citation for the original material.
