For over two decades, Indexing Partners has worked either with scholarly presses or directly with individual authors. In 2021, we indexed over 96 books that fall into this category.

Subject matter ranges from literary criticism to philosophy to history and biography. This type of indexing requires the ability to read and understand sophisticated and complex arguments, and then convert them into succinct meaningful subject entries in the index. Because of our extensive background in handling academic work, we understand the audience and how to best capture the author’s intention.
